The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers, Minnesota is an association of nearly 700 independently-owned automotive service businesses and industry suppliers, since 1955, dedicated to improving the state's automotive service industry and the success of its members.
Patrick is a former President and currently runs Lights On. He has been running the Lights on for Safety program since it’s inception over 10 years ago.
Lights On For Safety: AASP got the idea to give it a try in 1994 at one location. The program was so successful, it was continued, getting the MN Technical College Automotive Programs involved, offering small vehicle light bulb replacement for a Food Shelf donation at designated sites. It is held in annually, in October, at over 30 locations in Minneapolis, St Paul, and Duluth and Alexandria.
BBB Better Business Bureau - Since the founding of the first BBB in 1912, the BBB system has proven that the majority of marketplace problems can be solved fairly through the use of voluntary self-regulation and consumer education.
SAE International - The Society of Automotive Engineers has more than 90,000 members - engineers, business executives, educators, and students from more than 97 countries - who share information and exchange ideas for advancing the engineering of mobility systems. SAE is a resource for standards development, technical information and expertise used in designing, building, maintaining, and operating self-propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space. We demonstrate our commitment to society through local, national, and international public awareness programs that promote vehicle safety and maintenance and energy resource conservation and energy-related education. Industry and faculty awards provide recognition to outstanding contributors in the profession.
The Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization of people working to improve the northern Twin Cities metropolitan area.
