The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers, Minnesota is an association of nearly 700 independently-owned automotive service businesses and industry suppliers, since 1955, dedicated to improving the state's automotive service industry and the success of its members.
Patrick is a former President and currently runs Lights On. He has been running the Lights on for Safety program since it’s inception over 10 years ago.
Lights On For Safety: AASP got the idea to give it a try in 1994 at one location. The program was so successful, it was continued, getting the MN Technical College Automotive Programs involved, offering small vehicle light bulb replacement for a Food Shelf donation at designated sites. It is held in annually, in October, at over 30 locations in Minneapolis, St Paul, and Duluth and Alexandria.

We demonstrate our commitment to society through local, national, and international public awareness programs that promote vehicle safety and maintenance and energy resource conservation and energy-related education. Industry and faculty awards provide recognition to outstanding contributors in the profession.
