PJW Auto Team — ASE Master Certified Technicians
PJW Automotive is committed to quality maintenance and repair of your car and light truck. All automotive maintenance
and repairs are completed by ASE Master Certified technicians. ASE Master-Certified Technicians must complete a two-year automotive training
program plus have a minimum of two years on-the-job training. ASE certifies each automotive technician in the following
areas (ASE does offer other certifications as well):
- automotive engine repair
- automatic transmission and trans-axle
- manual drive train and axles
- suspension and steering
- brakes
- electrical/electronic systems
- automotive heating and air conditioning
- engine performance
Each automotive repair category has a separate test. Master Certified Technicians must pass all eight exams
to hold the title of Master Certified Technician. Re-certification of each auto repair technician is required every five years to
maintain the ASE certification credentials. Each PJW Automotive technician is also an ASE Advanced
Level Specialist in advanced engine performance, which is a separate higher level certification.
